End of the road

Posted by
Charlotte Meryman (Williamsburg, MA, United States) on 29 November 2009 in Transportation and Portfolio.

A 1954 Chevy Handyman in its final resting place on my parents' farm, where my mother banished it 50 years ago after my sister stepped through the rusted floor.

What a powerful Wreck -
Damon will love it as much as I do : tones, light and atmosphere are very strong and talk of a road (among others) that suddenly stopped but didn't totally vanished since the ghost remains in its rusting presence... Strong*

Fine decay! I love the luminescence especially here - the light lifting the trees, as the car heads bravely into the next 50 years.
